Beautiful Nigeria African Attire ‘Ankara’(Style: Oleku)


For those that don’t know, OLEKU is a traditional wear common among the Yoruba’s in the eighties . It’s worn occasionally among house wives in the olden days. OLEKU  is now trendy in Nigeria especially in the western part, as things have turned around and developed a better sense of style as youngsters who adopts western fashion are now adopting this new and trendy style.

OLEKU is a shorter version of Yoruba traditional wear “IRO AND BUBA”. It can be worn to lot of places like weddings, birthday and social events as it is comfortable in its short ‘Buba’ hand and ‘Iro’.
