Looking for a great brand that mixes multi-functional casual wear with today’s style? Then check out the lookbook from Nigerian design label Ordelia.
According to the brand, owned by Ifeoma Aigbe, they aim to create profoundly designed clothing that sits well with body basics, character type, gait and mood in mind. Their collections fuse classic, chic, Afrocentric, retro and ethnic styles that stand out. According to the creative director, “Ordelia woman is confident, chic and loves her fashionable and stylish self. We do not compromise the architecture and personality of the Ordelia woman when we make cloths for her. She is liberal, dignified and unpretentious, and so are great clothes from our stable. There’s great attention paid to details.“

UK based fashion label Eldimaa Fashion, created by Elizabeth Eldimaa was created in 2009. Ready to see some fabulous photos from Shakara Couture? The Nigerian brand, owned by creative director Ewemade Erhabor Emokpae, draws its inspiration from from the 1950′s, a decade which has heavily influenced the brand and its signature cuts and shapes, for its 2013 ad campaign.
For this ad campaign titled ‘There is no such thing as too much glamour‘, they’re going back in time. The campaign draws its inspiration the 1950′s housewife who was known for doing her daily chores in a full outfit. With pieces from its luxe collection, this campaign has models doing the basics like keeping up appearances, trimming the hedges and doing some fruit shopping at the market.

Jewellery trend: Rose Gold
The fascination with Rose Gold Jewellery kicked off with the trend of the boyfriend watch. Thanks to Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs there was a number of beautifully designed Rose Gold watches that were on plenty of wishlists and thanks to the reasonable prices, made their way on to many women’s waiting arms.
